The only way I like red wine is either in a beef stew or in sangria. My version of sangria has a secret ingredient — lots of wild rocket. Trust me.
Serves 10 to 12
Ingredients
2 bottles red wine
1/3 cup sugar
500 grams frozen berries
2 lemons, thinly sliced
3 oranges, thinly sliced
4 cups wild rocket
1 can Sprite or 7 Up
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and lightly crush all the ingredients. Refrigerate overnight.
Add Sprite or 7 Up to the bowl before serving.
